Amazing condition, near mint, second hand, vintage octave fuzz. This fuzz pedal has two octave fuzz settings, one with scooped mids and one with a really thick mid-range. The unit was branded under (and is identical to) a variety of names, including Mica Fuzz, Bruno Fuzz Machine, Aria Diamond Fuzz and Fuzz Machine (unbranded).
this was built by Maxon in answer to the Super Fuzz. Maxon is the most underrated of the early Japanese pedal makers. They came up with the Tube Screamer pedal yet everyone still thinks of that pedal as being an Ibanez production. It’s a Maxon designed pedal built for Ibanez. Same as this pedal. Bart’s effects database should specify all of the Maxon made pedals as they built this one under 25-30 different brand names.
marlboro, standard fuzz, mica

Trivia: The Ibanez Standard Fuzz is used by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys

Fender experimented with a Rosewood Telecaster design in the late 1960s. A very few of the exceptionally heavy guitars were produced, most famously the one played by George Harrison at the Beatles’ famed “rooftop concert” of Jan. 30, 1969, in London.
Fender’s Lite Rosewood Telecaster evokes that elusive instrument and greatly lightens the weight by sandwiching a dark-stained spruce body core between a rosewood top and back.
On its 1951 introduction, the Telecaster was a revolutionary instrument that would usher in whole new eras of musical innovation and excitement. Sixty years later, in 2011, it is an archetypal electric guitar with a long and storied history. The rich history of Fender guitars begins with the Telecaster, and Fender is celebrating its 60th anniversary all year with 12 very special “Tele-bration” models that stay inside the Telecaster’s famously elegant lines while offering the finest and most unusual takes on the instrument’s past, present and future. When we think of resonator guitars, it is the National and Dobro designs from the late 1920’s that generally come to mind. Indeed, few other names have penetrated this niche market. The Republic range covers both classic single-cone and tri-cone models, adding features that give a modern dimension to these very traditional instruments, such as body cutaways and options like classic nickel or „distressed“ metal finishes. Republic Guitars was founded in the town of Rowlett just outside of Dallas Texas, in August 2013 we relocated to our new home in Austin.

Utilizing past knowledge and their years of fuzz innovation, Death By Audio presents the Apocalypse. The Death by Audio Apocalypse is a 5-in-1 fuzz pedal with a sweepable filter that yields an array of versatile fuzz sounds from one pedal. Capable of mild boost to full on fuzz, the Death by Audio Apocalypse features a 5-way switch for 5 different fuzz tones. Scoup is scooped and perfect for metal and doom, Gainiac is a more classic sounding, high gain fuzz overloaded with harmonics, Square Wave is a huge ballsy distortion sound, Octavious induces full wave rectification for a nasty octave fuzz, and Wave Form Shifter provides splatty, gated fuzz. The Frequency control is more than a standard tone control, in its breadth are anything from bass heavy to scooped to midrange hump to overloaded treble bumblebee buzz. With all these options it’s no wonder the pedal is named as it is. The Death by Audio Apocalypse is the be-all end-all of fuzz/distortion effects and will reign down on any who dispute that.

The Death by Audio Robot is the latest in a line of sonic mayhem inducing pedals from our boys in NYC. The Robot brings Death by Audio into the low-fi, bit-crushing business. This insane pedal is a lo-fi pitch transposer that produces sweet, 8-bit ring mod effects to your guitar. The Robot features four operational modes; Normal, Octave Up, Octave Down, and Arpeggiator.
The Octave Up and Octave Down modes are pretty self explanatory. The Control knob, when fully clockwise, yields either octave up or down depending on the mode. When turned down, it bends the pitch of the octave down so you can dial in the exact tone you want. In Normal mode the Robot acts as a lo-fi fuzz pedal and the Control knob bends the pitch down from clockwise. The amount of fuzz can be further toyed with using the internal gain control. Now the fun part. The Death by Audio Robot also features an arpeggiator. The pitch will arpeggiate in a sequence and the Control knob will adjust the speed of the arpeggiation. It also makes a slight change in the pitch, allowing the arpeggiator to go higher. With all this fun, who needs anything else? Arpeggiation, whacky robotic nonsense, and 8-bit fuzz fun are all jam packed together in the Death by Audio Robot. Death by Audio Robot Features: True Bypass Internal Gain Control Octave Up/Down Arpeggiator Insanity!

Out of all of Les Paul’s many achievements; inventor, guitarist, and hit recording artist, Les is most beloved among musicians for inspiring the Les Paul Standard, one of the most sought-after guitars in the world. And now, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Red Royal PRO gives the legend a fresh start with ProBucker 2 and ProBucker 3 pickups with coil-tapping, a maple veneer top, and beautiful red pearl finish.
Epiphone’s history with legendary guitarist and innovator Les Paul dates back to the early 1940s when Les, working nights at the Epiphone factory on 14th Street in New York City, created one of the first solid body electric guitars, better known as „The Log.“ Over the next 15 years, Les continued to develop his dream guitar that would „sustain for days“ and in the late ’50s, the historic Gibson and Epiphone factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan produced the „sunburst“ Les Paul Standard and its new pickup, the „PAF“ humbucker.
Players like Joe Bonamassa, Slash, Ace Frehley, Zakk Wylde, Jimmy Page, Alex Lifeson and countless others get their signature sound from a „sunburst“ Les Paul and now Epiphone gives you a chance to experience that one-of-a-kind tone at an affordable price with the Les Paul PRO. The Les Paul Standard PRO features ProBucker „PAF“-style pickups with coil-tapping and all the modern appointments that players expect from Epiphone. The Super FatMan is the evolution of the FatMan envelope filter with the features that filter geeks want most. This is the end all envelope filter pedal. The Controls. The FatMan’s controls are intuitive and effective in sculpting incredible filter sounds. Construction. The Super FatMan is made from milled die-cast aluminum and then painted purple and silkscreened red with two part epoxy paints. This makes the Super FatMan easily stand up to the rigors of the road.
Attack – Adjusts the speed of the filter, and how fast it responds to transients in your playing. Fully slow opens the filter like a nice sweep on the wah pedal. Fully fast will open and close the filter nearly instantly making the attack of each note very pronounced. Fast attack will also move the filter around during note bending and the beating of slightly out of tune notes for spaceshippy sounds. Threshold – Adjusts the volume sensitivity of the filter. Turning it up causes the filter to begin working sooner and at lower levels. This sets the depth that the envelope reaches and how quickly it starts to decay. Sweep Up/Down Switch- Controls where the filter starts and moves to. When in „up“ mode, the filter starts at the lowest frequency and as volume increases, the frequency moves up. When in „down“ mode, the filter is at its max frequency for the range and moves downward as the volume increases. Down acts as a tone compressor. LFO Speed – Controls the speed of the Low Frequency Oscillator, from about .07 Hz (about 14 seconds) to 8Hz. Slower settings produce killer synthy filter sweeps, faster settings give you tremolo or vibrato like sounds. LFO Depth – Attenuates the LFO signal to control how subtle or pronounced you want the LFO to work on the filter. LFO Shape Switch – The LFO will run in Triangle Mode, (always smooth up and down) or Square Mode (full up or full down with no inbetween). Triangle is great for sweeps and more subtle sounds. Square is great when the Depth is turned down and blended with the envelope to produce delay like stuttering in longer notes. To turn the LFO off, put the switch in the middle position (useful when using an expression pedal). Source – This controls how much of the envelope follower is blended with the CV/Expression Pedal input or the LFO. Some very nice sounds come from the careful setting of this control. Range – This rotary switch selects between 12 distinct frequency ranges, controlling the frequency of the filter. The lowest setting goes down to 20Hz and provides movement in the sub-bass frequencies. The highest range tops out at 7kHz. Each range has its own sound and response characteristics. Feedback – This controls how much of the filter is heard at the output. Higher settings produce a sharper resonant peak while lower settings flatten the filter out and make it far more subtle. Filter Mode: LP/BP/HP Switch – This switch selects between the different filter modes. Low Pass mode cuts frequencies above the filter point, producing classic filter tones. Band Pass is more like a traditional wah pedal outputting only the frequencies directly around the filter point. High Pass cuts all frequencies lower than the filter point and creates some very nice tones without any bass. Blend: wet/dry – this blends your dry signal in with the filtered signal. It can help retain your original tone and add just a little filter, or get just the filtered tone. Use in junction with the Filter Phase switch for increased tonal possibility. Filter Phase Switch – This flips the phase of the filtered signal for the blend control. Having an in phase signal adds the frequencies together producing more bass and a more subtle sound. Out of phase subtracts the frequencies from eachother and produces sharper sounds. Bypass – The stomp switch is wired true bypass so only wires touch your tone when the Super FatMan is disabled. Internal Gain – There are two trim pots inside the pedal that control the gain of the wet and dry signals before they are blended. They will be set to unity from the factory, but can be changed if desired. RGB LED – The indicator LED on the Super FatMan is now a multi color (red/green/blue) type that has allowed us to provide visual feedback on how the pedal is working. The LED will light up Blue when the Super FatMan is engaged. The RED part will show the speed and mode of the LFO. The GREEN part will show what the filter is doing (envelope, and LFO). Besides being a cool looking flurry of colors, the LED will help you set the controls to get the sound you want faster. CV Input – This jack allows you to use a standard expression pedal (stereo plug) to control the filter position, or blend it with the envelope and LFO. It provides power to the expression pedal. This can also be used with 0-5 volt CV sources. For +-2.5 volt (moogerfooger and modular gear) CV, a special adapter is required to convert the voltage levels, available from WMD for $30. The Super FatMan uses high quality components everywhere, including the newest surface mount technologies which reduce noise and interference.

The Hummingbird From a company that has brought the guitar world so many great originals, the Hummingbird stands out strong and proud. Introduced in 1960 as Gibson’s first square-shouldered dreadnought, the Hummingbird arrived at the dawn of a new era in music, and was rapidly embraced by several prime movers on the scene. In the hands of everyone from Keith Richards to Gram Parsons, it quickly proved itself equally adept at folk, country and rock, and excelled at many of the crossovers genres in between that helped to set the scene for the ’60s. Much of the Hummingbird’s appeal lies in its versatility. However you attack this flat-top, it pumps out rich, deep tones, and is equally at home thrumming out first-position chords as it is taking the spotlight for flatpicking leadlines further up the neck.
Its spacious mahogany body and sweet, select Sitka spruce top are more than capable of nailing down the rhythm in the hands of a rock and roll sideman, or of accompanying the most nuanced performance under the fingers of today’s alternative singer-songwriter. Made in the image of the original, in Gibson’s acclaimed acoustic facility in Bozeman, MT, today’s Hummingbird lives up to its pedigree, bringing you all of these capabilities and more as, quite simply, one of the finest acoustic guitars available today. Available for a limited time in a deep wine red finish. Each guitar includes a black hardshell case with plush-lined interior, owner’s manual, Gibson’s Gold Warranty and Gibson’s 24/7/365 Customer Service. The Epiphone Hummingbird PRO Acoustic/Electric guitar brings the legendary country/rock „Hummingbird“ into the 21st century with the new Shadow ePerformer preamp and Shadow NanoFlex pickup system.
First introduced in 1960, the square shouldered Hummingbird quickly became a classic thanks to Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones, who used a Hummingbird for rhythm on early Stones hits like „Satisfaction,“ „Play With Fire,“ and „Under My Thumb.“ There are also many classic photographs of Keith using a Hummingbird on sessions for Exile on Main Street, Goat’s Head Soup, and Sticky Fingers. Today, the Hummingbird is still a go-to acoustic for rockers like Noel Gallagher, Sheryl Crow, and Kid Rock when they need a rhythm guitar with smooth action and superb “woody” tone that’s full of character.
On its own, the Hummingbird PRO Acoustic/Electric can drive an all-acoustic band or be front and center at a picking party with its sweet, balanced tone. Now with the Shadow ePerformer preamp and Shadow NanoFlex pickup system, The Hummingbird PRO can plug-in and hold its own on any size stage. Solid Spruce Tonewood The Hummingbird PRO Acoustic/Electric features a solid spruce top. Spruce is a rich and complex tonewood that begins to breathe and improve with age. The more you play, the better it sounds! The body and neck are made from select mahogany. The Hummingbird PRO neck has a classic SlimTaper D profile and features a 24.75″ scale and is attached to the body with a glued-in dovetail joint. The rosewood fingerboard has pearloid parallelogram inlays, 20 medium frets, a 12″ radius, and a 1.68″ nut. There is single ply white binding on the fingerboard and 5-ply white & black binding on the body top while the back of the body has single ply white binding. The Hummingbird PRO has the classic sloped dovewing headstock has the “Epiphone“ logo in white. The Hummingbird PRO Acoustic/Electric’s reverse belly rosewood bridge has a compensated saddle for smooth action and intonation. The Shadow NanoFlex pickup system is under the saddle and the classic Hummingbird/flower tortoise shell style pickguard is easy to spot on stage or across a room. Shadow Pickup System Epiphone and Shadow Germany have worked together for over a decade at perfecting ways to amplify an acoustic guitar on stage. The Hummingbird PRO is just one of many Epiphone guitars that feature a cutting edge pickup system that can handle any size gig and still produce an „acoustic“ sound. The Hummingbird PRO’s controls for the Shadow ePerformer Preamp are on the upper bout and include controls for Master Volume, Treble and Bass EQ, Mute, and a Dynamics control adjusted via a frequency curve. There is also a low batter indicator. The preamp is powered by two 2032 batteries. The output jack and strap locks are nickel and the Hummingbird PRO Acoustic/Electric is strung at the Epiphone factory with time-tested D’Addario Phosphor (12-53) strings. For almost 20 years, the Epiphone PR-5E acoustic-electric guitar has taken the stage with countless musicians. Designed by Epiphone in 1990, its distinctive body shape was patterned after Epiphone’s classic 335 guitars such as the Sheraton and Casino. But instead of a double-cutaway, it features a unique, single „Florentine“ or sharp cutaway. The result is a large lower bout providing excellent lows and solid mid-range with easy access to the upper frets on the neck.
The premium select spruce top uses a hand-scalloped, proprietary X-bracing pattern. Combined with the slightly arched mahogany back and mahogany sides, the PR-5E provides a sweet tone that projects well even when unplugged. Its Mahogany neck with SlimTaper profile, makes the PR-5E very easy and comfortable to play without fatigue. Premium die-cast kidney machine heads for tuning accuracy and stability with premium gold hardware and split-diamond, pearloid fingerboard inlays make the PR-5E an extraordinary value. Recently updated with Epiphone’s eSonic preamp and Nanoflex pickup system, the PR-5E comes alive when plugged in. Made in cooperation with Shadow Germany, the eSonic preamp features a built-in, easy to use tuner. When engaged, the guitar’s output is automatically muted—with no „popping“ noise—making it a perfect choice for stage use. Other controls on this state-of-the-art preamp include master volume, bass, treble, EQ shape, low battery indicator and a phase switch to help eliminate unwanted feedback. The preamp uses two 2032 lithium watch batteries that are not only lightweight, but provide significantly longer life than heavy 9V batteries. Under the PR-5E’s compensated saddle is Shadow’s proprietary Nanoflex low-impedance pickup. Not a piezo, this unique flexible sensing material features integrated active electronics and picks up not only string vibration but also top and body vibrations as well for a truly acoustic tone without the harshness of piezos. Case sold separately. Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options. The 2013 Les Paul ’70s Tribute captures the look, feel, and tone of a heavy sounding evolution of this legendary single-cutaway solidbody, the Les Paul of the 1970s. Like many Les Pauls of the era of heavy rock, the Les Paul ’70s Tribute carries a pair of high-output humbucking pickups for unparalleled overdrive tones, along with the characteristic ‘70s neck profile with volute. Gibson’s most acclaimed hardware set ensures smooth playability and offers precise tuning and intonation.
Built in the image of the world-beating Les Pauls of the 1970s, the Les Paul ’70s Tribute starts with the classic tonewood combination of a mahogany body with solid carved maple top. When paired, these woods offer a tonal depth and complexity unmatched by any single-wood construction, with warmth and richness from the mahogany, and superb clarity and “snap” from the maple, all of which translates to surprising breadth and articulation within the guitar’s scorching amped-up sound. The mahogany back is strategically weight relieved to both lighten your load and improve resonance. A solid mahogany neck is glued into the body in Gibson’s time-tested tradition, and carved to a characteristic medium ’70s profile that measures .810” at the 1st fret and .930” at the 12th, with period-correct volute to strengthen the back-angled headstock. It is topped with a genuine rosewood fingerboard that carries 22 medium-jumbo frets and traditional trapezoid inlays. In keeping with the stripped-down ethos of this powerful performer, both body and ’board remain unbound, and there’s no pickguard to obscure the finish. A PLEK-cut nut made from black Corian subtly complements the black witch-hat knobs with silver inserts and black pickup rings, while enhancing resonance and sustain. The headstock is silkscreened with a gold Gibson logo and Les Paul Model. The Les Paul ’70s Tribute takes its firepower from a pair of Gibson’s mighty Dirty Fingers humbucking pickups, a legendary component of ’70s firepower, and among the two hottest pickups that Gibson has ever designed. These scorching humbuckers include powerful ceramic magnets and over-wound coils for a sizzling, sustainful sound that nevertheless remains clear and articulate. The traditional wiring complement of an independent volume and tone control per pickup plus a three-way toggle selector switch allows a broad range of sonic variations. To anchor it all down, Gibson USA loads in a Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece, with a set of genuine Grover kidney button tuners, a hardware set that partners up for solid sustain and precision tuning. Put it all together, and the Les Paul ’70s Tribute presents the perfect celebration of the Les Paul’s advancement into the age of heavy rock, wrapping it all into a great guitar that brings the look, feel, and sound of a high-output humbucker-loaded Les Paul to the hands of players of today. Each guitar includes a black Gibson gig bag, owner’s manual and truss rod wrench. FEATURES Mahogany body with solid carved maple top Mahogany neck with medium ’70s profile Rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays Pair of high-output Dirty Fingers™ humbucking pickups in the neck and bridge Grover Kidney button tuners Includes a black Gibson gig bag

The Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster Acoustic Guitar has a classic Gibson L-00 body and custom herringbone top trim, recalling the instruments played by some of the first blues artists in the Deep South of the United States. The custom neck shape and wider nut width give the Bluesmaster guitar easy playability. Tonal enhancements are created by a customized thinner top made of Adirondack red spruce for singing tone and sustain.
The Keb‘ Mo‘ acoustic guitar’s carved French heel neck shape means easy finger reaching up the neck for those high notes and vibrato. The 12th fret is joined to the guitar body for a warmer resonant tone and added playing comfort. Gibson gives the Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster guitar a special darker vintage antiquing of its authentic nitro-lacquer finish. Other embellishments include a Keb‘ Mo‘ Signature truss cover and L.R. Baggs Element pickup with soundhole volume control. Includes case. Body Wood The top of the Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster is made from 2 pieces of solid Adirondack red spruce, a rare and highly prized tonewood that featured in the tops of many instruments from the golden age of the flattop acoustic guitar. The instrument’s back and sides are made from solid mahogany. Design The Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster is made in the image of Gibson’s small-bodied L-series guitars, such as the L-00. Its solid spruce top is sanded to a custom thickness and is supported by an X-brace pattern formed of scalloped spruce braces, all of which optimize its resonance and tonal richness. In the tradition of many small-bodied finger-style guitars, the Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster carries no pickguard, a feature which also further enhances the top’s resonance. Tonal Characteristics Despite its small body dimensions, the Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster has a deep, rich, multidimensional tone, and a volume that belies its size. Its thin, lightly braced top aids its superb projection, while its solid mahogany back and sides add excellent definition and a velvety high-end shimmer to its tone. Finish The Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster is available in either antique natural or vintage sunburst. Process The Keb‘ Mo‘ Signature Bluesmaster is hand-finished in a process that demands several coats and many hours. Unlike many other manufacturers who settle for a polyurethane finish, Gibson opts for a nitrocellulose finish that will encourage the natural vibration of the instrument for a purer tone. In addition, a nitro finish is very porous and actually gets thinner over time. That way your guitar’s wood can breathe and age beautifully. Neck Wood The neck is made from quartersawn solid mahogany. The quartersawn grain orientation produces superior strength and resonance, and is preferred in the necks of high-end acoustic guitars. Truss Rod Gibson’s traditional truss rod, found in most all of their guitars, is highly responsive to the individual adjustments you’ll want to make to personalize and optimize string action and sustain. Profile The guitar’s neck is carved to a custom Keb‘ Mo‘-designed sculpted V profile. Headstock Shape and Angle The headstock is carved in the style of Gibson’s Advanced Jumbo with tapered edge, and is pitched at the vintage-correct 17-degree back angle. Logo The Gibson logo is inlaid in mother of pearl across the top of the Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster’s headstock, which also carries the traditional mother-of-pearl crown inlay. The truss rod cover is further engraved with Keb‘ Mo’s signature. Joint The Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster’s glued-in neck is attached with a compound dovetail joint, positioned at the 12th fret. This neck/body joint results in a bridge placement further into the center of the guitar’s rounded lower bout, which perfectly hits the top’s „sweet spot“ for improved resonance and sustain. Tonal Characteristics The angled, classical-style peg head and mahogany neck work together to provide exceptional tonal richness and sustain from the neck, while the deeper bridge placement—a result of the 12th fret neck/body joint—increases the guitar’s overall sonic depth. Fingerboard Species The neck carries a fingerboard of East Indian rosewood. Rosewood is both hard wearing and sonically superlative, adding sweetness and depth to the guitar’s overall sound. Dimensions The Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster is built to a 25″ scale length, and its fingerboard has a 12″ radius. Combined with its 1.805″ nut width, these dimensions offer plenty of room for popular traditional and contemporary blues styles with a string spacing that finger-style players in particular will appreciate, and no „dead‘ or „choked“ strings during blues bends. Frets The fingerboard carries 18 narrow, vintage-style frets in total, with 12 frets clear of the body. Inlays The fingerboard is inlaid with vintage-style 1/4″ mother-of-pearl dot position markers. Nut Material The Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster has a genuine bone nut for optimum resonance and sustain. Width The width of the nut is approximately 1.805″, the preferred width for flattop blues guitars. Electronics The Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster carries a built-in L.R. Baggs Element pickup with a single volume control mounted inconspicuously in the edge of the sound hole and a standard 1/4″ end-pin jack. The Element is an advanced unit from one of the world’s leading acoustic-guitar pickup manufacturers, and it offers a broad, natural projection of the guitar’s natural tone without interfering with the vibration of the top and bridge when it is played unplugged. Tuning Keys The headstock carries vintage-style, open-back nickel tuners with an efficient 14:1 ratio for excellent tuning stability. Bridge The Keb‘ Mo‘ Bluesmaster carries a traditional „belly down“ bridge made from solid East Indian rosewood with traditional bridge pins and a solid bone bridge for enhanced sustain and resonance. Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options. Features Includes case

Like Plugging Directly Into a Vintage Console
You’d be surprised how many legendary guitar tones were created just by plugging a guitar directly into a vintage mixing console. The JHS Colour Box gives you exactly what you need to re-create classic tones by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, and others. It’s a 100% analog design that replicates the input of a vintage Neve console. We’re no strangers to tweaking guitar tones here at Sweetwater, and we can see the JHS Colour Box pedal gives you a unique way to shape your sound that you can’t achieve with traditional amps and effects.
JHS Colour Box Preamp Pedal at a Glance: Colorful tone, from clean to fuzzy A powerful tool for studio and stage, with inputs for instruments and microphones JHS pedals are handcrafted tone machines Colorful tone, from clean to fuzzy The sound of the Colour Box is musical and vibrant, thanks to the Lundahl transformer that beefs up your lows, adds harmonic complexity, and enhances midrange richness. With two gain stages and over 39dB of gain on hand, you can give your tone anything from a smooth polish to full-on distortion. A powerful tool for studio and stage, with inputs for instruments and microphones With both instrument and XLR inputs and outputs, the Colour Box is a flexible tool. It’s based on a legendary Neve console, and can serve as a high-quality microphone preamplifier – it even has a sweet-sounding EQ section to optimize your sound. You can also use the Colour Box as a handy splitter with your guitar rig, sending the 1/4″ output to your amplifier and the XLR output to the mixing board. JHS pedals are handcrafted tone machines When you plug your guitar into a JHS pedal like the Colour Box, you’re tapping into care and passion that few manufacturers put into their products. Each JHS pedal is hand built and tested by the JHS team in Kansas City, Missouri. 3 echo circuits cascade into each other to bring an extremely organic and versatile dream machine to your fingertips. Each of the Ghost Delay’s echo circuits have controls for time and feedback to sculpt the sound to vast new places. Blend and master volume controls give you the ability to tame back the insanity or bring it forth with a wall of screaming dying ghosts. The amount of sounds produced by this thing and their originality are uncanny. It could be the start of a new sound. It could be the start of a new band.
The first time I listened to Doc Watson, the seminal flatpicker, I thought “great attack but smoother tone than most other players.” What was the secret? Doc was playing a mahogany backed guitar and extracted every bit of tone from the wonderful warmth of this wood. Long appreciated for its warmth for fingerstyle playing, it has a round presence for flatpicking styles that is unequaled. The Levinson voiced table brings the true tone of sapele mahogany to the forefront. Solid Engleman spruce top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard.
The Medina River runs near San Antonio, Texas in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Its shores are known for lush vegetation and abundant wildlife. The Levinson Medina brings you lush warm tones and abundant volume with a percussive sound and controlled bass response resulting from the 24.75 inch (628 mm) scale length and the round-shoulder body design. A perfect pleasure to play – straight from the heart. Solid Engleman spruce top, mahagony back and sides, rosewood fingerboard.
Our „Log “ products are what we call „stompers“. They are not guitar effects pedals (stomp boxes) but instruments in their own right. They are designed to create a beat behind what you’re playing and can be used very simply by tapping your feet 2 ,3 or 4 times per bar etc or by using the instrument selectively to create dynamic changes and accents. When plugged into a PA or bass amp they will create the sound of a kick drum. Unlike a „drum machine“ these units are played by you… now read on and welcome to Log World…
Prolog Our Prolog has become the standard to beat so to speak. It’s incredibly low stomping angle, high output and integral board have made it the choice of professional players the world over. The heel board facilitates back-beats with your heel…dial in a little mid and use a hard shoe and you can get an effect akin to kick drum and rim-shot Low profile for stomping comfort. Strong bassy output through redesigned internal chamber. Ergonomic and lightweight with integral footboard. Made from solid Sapele (our most popular timber) Focused stomping position. Now guaranteed for 3 years
Large in size, volume and vibe, the Kingman Jumbo SCE cutaway acoustic can really cut through a mix. Its sweet-sounding solid-spruce top produces loud, booming bass and nice even tone, with a laminated mahogany back and sides that contribute to a mellow warmth. Its broad timbral spectrum along with above the 12th fret access make the Kingman one of the best sounding, most easily playable guitars in its price range.
The elegant Natural finish and maple Stratocaster neck with comfortable “C”-shaped profile create a classic look that evokes Fender’s great sun-and-fun acoustics of the 1960s. These are combined with modern appointments including quartersawn scalloped „X“ bracing for improved resonance, dual-action truss rod for increased neck stability, solid rosewood bridge plate, bone nut and saddle, and Fishman Presys pickup system with active onboard preamp, tuner, volume and tone controls and low-battery indicator. FEATURES Easy access to 19 frets Solid top Quality pickup Big acoustic sound
The Double Feature is a fuzz and fixed wah pedal with striking looks and stunning sound.
The Fuzz side of the pedal features a raunchy, original design fuzz that is powered by a pair of stable vintage Russian germanium transistors which are driven into fuzz by a specially selected and slew rate limited opamp. The result is a fantastic, focused fuzz with plenty of output volume and sustain. Volume, Tone and Gain controls offer plenty of pleasing tonal flexibility.
The fuzz has a high input impedance and low output impedance which makes it play nice with buffered signal chains, wireless units and switching devices. The filter side of the pedal is a fixed wah. Many classic lead tones were recorded with a wah left in one position instead of being rocked back and forwards. This is commonly referred to as ʻfixedʼ or ʻparkedʼ wah. Unlike a traditional, large Wah Pedal where you have to move the pedal around to find the exact tone you are looking for when playing, the Double Feature allows you to dial in the ʻSweet Spotʼ using the Frequency Control. You can then access this tone by simply turning the pedal on and off using the Filter foot-switch.
The Concert is the top-of-the-line of the mahogany/cedar models. The Concert CW features the Custom Polished finish that is buffed down to a highly responsive high gloss finish.

Epiphone is proud to present the Epiphone ES-175 Premium, a faithful new reissue of what many consider the most famous electric archtop in popular music, heard on classics from jazz to rock in the hands of pioneers like Joe Pass, Scotty Moore, and Wes Montgomery. Epiphone’s long history of innovation began with designing archtop guitars. And now, Epiphone steps up its game again with the new ES-175 Premium featuring Gibson USA ’57 Classic pickups and a vintage-inspired „aged“ lacquer finish that will make you think you’re playing a 50’s original but at a price anyone can afford.
The ES-175 was introduced in 1949 as a mid-size, more affordable version of the venerable L-5, the very first modern archtop and the inspiration for the best Gibson and Epiphone archtops of the jazz era. The original ES-175 was truly a modern guitar that anticipated a new era of jazz and pop music that was hotter, louder, and constantly stretching musical boundaries. The ES-175 was the first archtop with a Florentine (sharp) cutaway. And by 1957, it came with the innovative and now standard humbucker pickup. The ES-175 quickly the preferred model for both jazz players and rock and rollers with a background in jazz, especially for guitarists looking for the „Wes Montgomery“ L-5 sound at a lower cost. The new Epiphone ES-175 Premium is just like the original–a fully hollow jazz box that’s easy to hold, easy to play and affordable. And with the addition of Gibson ’57 Classic pickups, the Epiphone ES-175 Premium is versatile enough for any genre with cool crisp archtop tone from its all-maple construction and killer humbucker pickups. Epiphone Archtops, the Modern Standard The introduction of the ES-175 Premium brings Epiphone full circle in its long history of producing affordable, professional instruments that can deliver pro sound night after night. The Epiphone ES-175 Premium features a traditional laminated Maple body with single ply binding with a vintage-inspired „aged“ lacquer finish topped off with a traditional 3-ply black and white pickguard. The ES-175 Premium has a hand-fitted, glued-in mahogany neck with a SlimTaperTM profile and a 24.75″ scale that’s poised to come alive with the very first note you play. The bound rosewood fingerboard has classic split-parallelogram inlays and Epiphone’s iconic „sloped dovewing“ headstock is fitted with Grover 18:1 machine heads for quick, accurate, and intuitive tuning, and a standard 1.68″ nut. Gibson USA ’57 Classic Pickups Every great electric archtop has great pickups and the ES-175 Premium truly becomes a time-traveling marvel with the inclusion of two Gibson USA ‘57 Classic humbucker pickups that recreate the wide tonal range and incredible sensitivity of the ES-175’s original PAF-style pickups that today are the most sought after vintage pickups in the world. Classic Hardware All Epiphone instruments feature rock solid hardware that’s guaranteed for life. The ES-175 Premium comes with Epiphone „Deluxe“ machine heads and full range controls for volume and tone all equipped with Epiphone’s full-size 1″ 500KΩ potentiometers, a rim-mounted output jack, and Epiphone’s 3-way all metal toggle mounted on a traditional rubber grommet. The bridge is set up with a traditional floating rosewood base supporting a fully adjustable nickel Tune-o-matic bridge. The bridge is „pinned“ to ensure perfect placement and intonation every time. And the classic „Zig-Zag“ Trapeze tailpiece makes the new ES-175 Premium virtually indistinguishable from a vintage original-except for the price! An optional premium hard case is also available. The Xotic RC S[cott]H[enderson] has arrived, and it builds on the already great and unparalleled RC Booster of yore. Many „signature models“ simply add a name and be done with it. However, that’s just not Xotic’s style.
The RC SH takes the same gorgeous clean boost circuit as the original and adds a second Gain knob along with a second footswitch to toggle between Gain 1 and Gain 2. That’s right, now two different Gain levels are footswitchable for a much more versatile pedal—works GREAT before an amp switcher box.
The original RC Booster adds as much as 20 decibels of super-clean boost (remember, RC stands for „Real Clean“) along with a two-band active EQ to cut or boost bass or treble by up to ±15 decibels. There’s plenty of boost available on tap by goosing the Volume control with the Gain control rolled back, but the Gain control is the magic dial, hence the idea to include two of them. It adds just a little transparent grit to the circuit for a fine low-gain overdrive sound. The Chrome finished RC SH is super limited and once they’re gone, that’s it! Xotic RC Booster Scott Henderson Chrome Limited Features: Extra Gain knob and A/B footswitch Striking full-chrome finish Juicy two-band EQ True bypass Standard 9v center-negative power operation
The MXR Reverb pedal delivers six evocative reverb types in a compact, low-noise, stereo-capable pedal. The expression pedal input allows you to blend between two different setting configurations for mega creative performance potential. Best of all, the delay trails mode lets the reverb effect fade out when you switch the pedal off, instead of cutting off the reverb abruptly.
6 reverb styles yield an excellent selection of ambient sounds Use an expression pedal to create outrageous effects Trails Bypass mode lets your reverbs ring out 6 reverb styles yield an excellent selection of ambient sounds The MXR Reverb pedal is packed with six types of reverb: Plate, Spring, Epic, Mod, Room, and Pad. Plate emulates the bright, dense sound and smooth decay of the vintage studio effect. Spring yields classic guitar amp reverb. Epic creates a massive sound built from multiple interconnected modulated delays. Mod is a modulated studio plate reverb. Room simulates a small room with an early reflection slapback sound. Pad is a blend of higher and lower octave synth sounds combined with a reverb effect. Use an expression pedal to create outrageous effects You can employ an expression pedal to toggle between two different settings. Connect the expression pedal to the MXR Reverb pedal’s Exp jack with a TRS cable and place it in the heel-down position. Set the controls. Move the expression pedal to the toe-down position. Reconfigure the controls. Now you can rock the expression pedal back and forth to sweep between the two configurations. Trails Bypass mode lets your reverbs ring out The MXR Reverb pedal is true bypass by default – shutting the effect off completely bypasses the pedal’s circuitry. While this is great for your tone when you’re not using the pedal, it has the unfortunate side effect of cutting of your reverb tails. That’s why MXR included a selectable Trails Bypass mode, which uses a buffered bypass, allowing your reverbs to ring out even after you turn the pedal off. MXR Reverb Pedal Features: Reverb effects pedal for electric guitar 6 reverb modes: Plate, Spring, Epic, Mod, Room, and Pad Use optional expression pedal (sold separately) to manipulate the Blend control Trails Bypass mode preserves your reverb tails Operates in either Mono or Stereo mode for interfacing with different gear Includes ECB003 9V power supply (this pedal cannot be powered by a battery)

The Ovation Celebrity Elite CE44-5 acoustic-electric guitar combines Ovation’s innovative Lyrachord body with a solid spruce top, for sweet tone with gorgeous looks to match. The Lyrachord body is a durable, lightweight alternative to wood backs and has a smooth interior surface, specifically designed to enhance the reflections inside your instrument. The Mid-Depth Cutaway body is a favorite Ovation body style, as it strikes a balance between Ovation’s thinnest and thickest body styles. And with the built-in OP-4BT electronics, the Ovation Celebrity Elite CE44-5 is ready to rock!
In 1964 Charlie Kaman set out to revolutionize the acoustic guitar by compiling a group of aerospace engineers to create something guitar players had never seen or heard before. They discovered that the flat backs of modern day acoustics actually hindered the balance and projection of the guitar. And so, the roundback designs found on Ovation guitars were born. As Charlie himself put it, „in helicopters, the engineers spend all their time trying to figure out how to remove vibration. To build a guitar, you spend your time trying to figure out how to put vibration in.“ Mid-depth body balances sonic projection and playing comfort Ovation guitars possess one of the more intriguing acoustic-electric guitar designs you’ll find at Sweetwater. This Celebrity Elite CE44-5 sports Ovation’s mid-depth body style which helps enhance projection and tonal richness while being extremely comfortable to play, even for smaller players. Onboard OP-4BT preamp Ovation wrote the book on live acoustic guitar. They were the first company to introduce pickups and preamplifiers in the acoustic guitar, essentially inventing a new instrument. The Ovation Celebrity Elite CE44-5 is equipped with an OP-4BT preamp that has +/- 12dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies. In addition, the onboard tuner makes it easy to stay in tune. Ask any guitarist here at Sweetwater – the OP-4BT gives you the tonal control you need onstage. Antichthon is the ancient Greek word for “Counter-World,” another Earth which lies beyond the sun. The Catalinbread Antichthon attempts to expound on just what this world might look like. Catalinbread’s approach to the Antichthon questions the way we might make music, perceive sounds and derive inspiration in a world that is, in all facets, the polar opposite of our own.
For starters, the Antichthon is controlled by the guitar’s volume knob, instead of by the knobs on the pedal. The guitar’s volume knob is more of an expression control than the pedal’s dials, which are meant to be set and left alone. The core of the Antichthon is three separate modes that can be achieved through different knob settings, then controlled by the guitar.
Mode 1 is a dynamic fuzzed-out tremolo. The guitar’s volume knob controls the speed and sound of the tremolo instead of the pedal’s actual controls. The tremolo is very interesting, it’s very choppy and rhythmic, an effect that is certainly apropos to the concept of opposites. The fuzz sound itself is full of even-order harmonics, so it never sounds cloying or harsh. Mode 2 is an otherworldly tone generator, and it will work without any input from the player. However, it’s when you add in your guitar’s signal that makes it interesting. Your guitar and the pedal’s tone meld together to create all sorts of interesting and inspiring sounds. From sub-bass tones to piercing horn sounds, there isn’t much outside the realm of possibility. Mode 3 is a harmonic fuzz-overdrive. This setting is more familiar, and usually seems like an add-on to some of the more “experimental” effects out there. However, this one is truly great, like a time portal back to our Earth and more familiar surroundings. Catalinbread Antichthon Features: Three distinct modes, fuzz tremolo, tone generator and fuzz-overdrive 9–18 volt operation Control the effect from your guitar’s controls Hand-made in Portland
Fender electrics are a popular choice but there acoustic cousins aren’t quite so common. The new Paramount range, designed in the USA and made in China, are attractive, great value acoustic guitars. Whether you’re new to guitar or a more experienced player you should give them a try.
The PM3 000 Deluxe Cutaway has a strong mid/lowend balance with good projection and quite a ’new guitar‘ sound. This gives you a lot more depth than you’d expect from a guitar in this price range. Sitting midway between the parlour and dreadnought it suits most styles.
Some companies skimp on the finish on low-mid range models in favor of price. Fender have managed to fit a lot of personality onto these guitars without padding the price. They have a 60’s style checkerboard rosette, a 40’s style logo and 60’s style inlays. It might seem like a strange combo of decades and styles but the overall effect is pleasing. Pickup sound The Paramount pickup and preamp system in this guitar gives you a lot of tone options. It has a bass and treble EQ for fine tuning your amplified sound. The built in tuner is fast and responsive and the phase switch lets you cut-out feedback on stage. The pickups let the acoustic character of the guitar come through. The dreadnought sounds rich and deep while the parlour has a more potent mid range and the 000 is somewhere in between. Richie Kotzen is a guitarist that through his many years of incredible work with different bands has forged his own unique blend of soul, funk, pop, rock and metal. This special style of playing requires a special guitar to go with it hence why for a long time in Japan you have been able to buy the incredible Richie Kotzen Stratocaster signature model. Available for a limited time this guitar is never normally available outside of Japan.
Richie puts comfort while playing above pretty much anything else. At the end of the day he wants his guitars to remain in tune and stay out of the way so his hands are free to move. That is why it uses a lightweight Ash body with strong body curves and topped with laminated flame maple for a killer look. The neck is the really interesting part however as Richie actually prefers a very thick neck. In fact this is probably the largest neck Fender produce for any of their production guitars. Even with its massive size though it is still incredibly comfortable to play even with regular sized hands. The Hardware When building this guitar they tried out many different pickups but none really hit the right note. So in the end they went to DiMarzio and got a set of custom single coils made and they sound incredible. Enough heat to cary you through hard rock and metal tunes but articulate enough to sound great with pop, and soul styles as well. The Flying V is a rock and blues icon played by legendary artists, such as Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, Lonnie Mack, Dave Davies and others, with a radical design that was way ahead of its time when first released in 1958. The Flying V 2017 T captures every nuance of the original styling, and delivers tones that match its iconic and aggressive looks, thanks to a pair of roaring Dirty Fingers humbuckers, which are among the most powerful pickups Gibson has ever produced. While it is widely used in heavy rock and metal, the Flying V 2017 T is much more than that, too. Inklusiv Gig Bag. Paul Gilbert is not only an extraordinary musician, but a creative tinkerer as well. Always looking to build a better mousetrap…or at least a more versatile one, Paul endlessly searches for ways to improve his instrument as a vehicle for his musical ideas. His signature PGM is now available from miKro series.
With its shorter scale neck and smaller body, this guitar is ideal for younger guitarists and/or those with smaller hands that struggle with wider frets. At the same time, those with longer fingers will love being able to play deep bends with the looser strings and due to the shorter scale will find it easier to perform blistering feats. Great tone, great playability and great fun it’s time to try the PGM miKro.
PGMM31 takes over all the icons of classic PGM model; Reversed headstock, Maple fretboard and of course, iconic f-hall paints with 1-vol control. Despite its tiny body and short scale, miKro series does not sacrifice playability under name of Ibanez. The .010-.046 string gauge ensure enough tension for playing comfort.

The Martin 15 Series D-15M acoustic guitar looks like it came right out of the history books, and delivers a sound for the ages. In its 175-year history, Martin has set more guitar design trends than can be counted. The company still embraces design techniques introduced many years ago to create their guitars‘ timeless tone.
Built on a dreadnought platform, the Martin 15 Series D-15M guitar boasts 14 open frets for a unique design and great range of tone. The top, back, and sides are genuine solid mahogany, offering strong guitar tone, with crisp, clear subtleties in each note’s definition. One of mahogany’s finest qualities is its density. Although it’s not the hardest tonewood, it is free of air pockets and other deformities.
The vintage sound produced by the Martin 15 Series D-15M acoustic guitar is reminiscent of the Style 15 Martin guitars made popular during the 1940s. The Martin guitar is equipped with a mortise and tennon neck joint, offering the best wood binding practice ever conceived. Often used for shipbuilding, the process fuses two pieces of wood into a single, sturdy unit that stands up to the elements time and time again. The results are evident with the strength in tone and power in projection that you hear with each strum of this Martin acoustic guitar. The Martin guitar’s solid mahogany neck further complements the crisp, defined acoustic sound of this dreadnought. The bridge and fingerboard are solid East Indian rosewood, adding smooth sustain to the mix. The 14 open frets, 1-11/16 in. nut width, 2-1/8″ bridge string spacing, and 16 in. radius add comfort for your intricate fingerboard movements. Other appointments include a single-ring rosette, bone nut, solid/square taper headstock, solid East Indian rosewood headplate, diamonds and square fingerboard inlay, belly-style bridge, nickel open-geared tuning machines with butterbean knobs, and a solid black ebony bridge and end pins. Dressed in a soft satin finish and featuring a Delmar tortoise color pickguard, the Martin D15M guitar glows with classic vintage looks and sound. Includes a Martin 345 hardshell guitar case. Martin Dreadnought The very first dreadnought guitars were designed and crafted by C. F. Martin & Co. in 1916, but marketed in Boston and New York exclusively under the Oliver Ditson brand. Originally made for Hawaiian slide playing style, the very first dreadnought made was a Model 222 shipped to Ditson in August of 1916. After Ditson went out of business in the early 1930s, Martin introduced the D-1 and D-2 dreadnoughts for standard playing style that would soon become Martin’s iconic D-18 and D-28 models. Over the past 100 years, the Martin dreadnought has helped define what an acoustic guitar can and should be, and subsequently, it has become one of the most popular acoustic guitar designs in the world.
