Jobfactory Musicstore statement on CITES convention regarding ROSEWOOD
This guitar contains Rosewood (Dalbergia Latifolia). Rosewood is now subject to new Import and Export regulations, as put forth in the recent CITES international convention.
After purchasing this guitar, Jobfactory Musicstore will then apply for the Re-Export Certificate needed from the Swiss CITES offices in Bern. Normally, this process will take less than a working week.
We will send the Re-Export certificate to the buyer, via Post Mail, or Email. The buyer must then send this Certificate to their countries CITES offices (simple google search will reveal this information) together with an IMPORT certificate which must also be acquired from local CITES offices. The application for IMPORT can be found on the local CITES website.
Jobfactory Musicstore will ship the guitar at the direction of the buyer. It is recommended to wait until the Import Certificate is received before shipping.
Jobfactory Musicstore is NOT responsible for any complications or problems of delivery with regards to CITES compliance once it leaves Switzerland.
If the guitar is returned due to non-compliance of the CITES protocalls, there may be a restocking fee.
